DESCRIPTION

The ACT Extreme Clutch Pressure Plate for the 2002–2005 Subaru WRX is designed for drivers who need increased holding power and reliable performance under hard driving. The SB018X pressure plate uses ACT’s exclusive Xtreme diaphragm design to increase clamp load by 50 to 120 percent while reducing deflection and extending clutch life through a four-stage heat-treating process and rigid precision cover stampings.

This pressure plate is compatible with both street and race clutch discs and includes ACT’s patented Monoloc release mechanism. The one-piece chrome-moly steel Monoloc upgrade improves alignment, provides uniform bearing load, and significantly extends release mechanism life compared to the factory two-piece design.
